Volunteer Requirements
What we look for in our volunteers
Age Requirement
Minimum 18 years old. No upper age limit - we value experience!
Commitment Period
On-site: Minimum 1 month. Virtual: Flexible, minimum 10 hours/week.
Language Skills
Good command of English required. Swahili is a plus but not mandatory.
Background Check
Required for positions working directly with children (provided by us).
Health Requirements
Medical certificate required for on-site volunteers (we can help arrange).
Passion & Commitment
Most important - a genuine desire to help and commitment to our mission.
International Volunteers
We assist with visa invitation letters, airport pickup, and orientation. You're responsible for travel costs, insurance, and visa fees.
Most nationalities can obtain visa on arrival in Kenya (check your country's requirements).
